Mika – The Boy Who Knew Too Much: Short review #2

For our second short review I have chosen to do the latest album by Mika, “The Boy Who Knew Too Much”.
Summary:
Artist: Mika
Album: The Boy Who Knew Too Much
Label: Universal
Year: 2009
Genre: Pop
Opinion:
Mika claimed that his latest album sounds more mature than his previous album, “Cartoon Motion”, but I think he needs to eat some more bacon. His numbers are easy to sing along with, but his lyrics have less content than a can of tomato soup and you can’t really call them refreshing. But Pop music is still Pop music and it’s made for the 45-year old housewife, who while she’s doing the laundry shouts the lyrics and thinks they are written just for her. Long live the housewife, Long live Mika.
Ubie’s rating: 3/10
Happy reading,
Ubie.
