Pearl Jam – Backspacer: Short Review #1

Here it is ladies and gentlemen: the very first short music review. For the people who have little time to spend reading reviews but want to know if it’s worth buying or not ^^.
So we will start strong with the latest album by Pearl Jam, “Backspacer”.
Summary:
Artist: Pearl Jam
Album: Backspacer
Label: Universal
Year: 2009
Genre: Rock/Grunge
Opinion:
Pearl Jam has released the shortest album ever (37 minutes), and it ain’t even half bad… No political messages, no everlasting solos, only positivism like in the good old days, when Alive was still rocking, and Reservoir Dogs wasn’t a cult movie yet. You can feel Eddie Vedder practically jumping around of pleasure in some of the songs. Straight forward rock and yet sometimes some nice intimate moments. For example ‘Just Breathe’ maybe even become the opening dance for the better wedding…
Ubie’s rating: 7,5/10
Happy reading,
Ubie.
